Join the Mornington Sinfonia

We would welcome all string players - especially cellists, also brass players and a timpanist (drums available here). Our woodwind section is full, but we sometimes need reserve players. Our standard is particularly suitable for intermediate players. No audition required - if you like us, we'll like you! Just turn up to any rehearsal and see how you get on.

Rehearsals are on Thursdays, 7.45-9.45pm in the Church Hall of Our Lady Help of Christians, in Falkland Road near the corner of Lady Margaret Road, London NW5 2XT (map). Please try to arrive at or just after 7.30pm so that we can set up and start playing promptly at 7.45pm. The nearest tube station is Kentish Town. If coming by car, there's free parking after 6.30pm in either Lady Margaret Road or Falkland Road.

Mornington Sinfonia is Japanese musician friendly - one of our conductors speaks a little bit of Japanese because his wife is from Japan, and we have a few Japanese players in the orchestra.
